We are a Portuguese blue biotechnology company founded in 2012, dedicated to the sustainable farming of Atlantic seaweed species. Unique in Europe to do it in a system of circular blue bio-economy, our production includes a hatchery for species such as Atlantic nori.
With the well-being of people and the planet in mind, our aim is to democratize the consumption of farmed seaweed from Portugal and other European countries. Seaweed is an easy and versatile food to use, healthy, exceptionally nutritious (Calcium, Iron, Protein, Iodine and Fiber, among others) and low-calorie. Its farming requires no soil or freshwater and has a reduced carbon footprint.
